What is a Moai?
Moais are groups of 5-8 people that meet over then weeks to walk or potluck together and socialize. The term "moai" (pronounced mow-eye) comes from Okinawa, Japan. It means "meeting for a common purpose."
The Moai Launch will take place in the public parking lot at Clearfork, and will serve as a kick-off for the 10-week Walking and Potluck Moai programs. During the launch, you will participate in an interactive group activity to form Walking and Potluck Moais. Each attendee will receive a Blue Zones Project t-shirt and have a chance to win prizes.
