Be one of the first to welcome Doug Parker, CEO of the newly merged American Airlines, as he delivers his first Fort Worth Chamber address at our annual High Impact Breakfast, Nov. 20, presented by Pinnacle Bank.
Less than a year into integration with US Airways, American is focusing on a wide range of expansion opportunities that Parker will discuss. For instance, Beijing is scheduled to be added to AA’s list of destinations from DFW, pending federal Department of Transportation approval. Extensive fleet renewal efforts will put nearly 100 new aircraft into service by the end of this year, and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is expected to enter service for American in 2015.
Also, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport will be honored with the Chamber’s High Impact Legacy Award as it celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Economic development in Fort Worth and North Texas has soared on DFW International Airport’s wings, propelling this area’s growth with global reach and competitive edge foreseen when it opened on Jan. 13, 1974.
For those reasons and more, don’t miss the last big Chamber event of the year. Register today!
