Meet Orlando Carvalho, Executive Vice-President, Lockheed Martin Corporation ? Aeronautics, who was appointed to the position in March 2013. Mr. Carvalho will bring us up to date on all the news from Lockheed, including the impact of sequestration, Lockheed?s foreign customers and the many jobs available in Fort Worth for skilled workers in the aerospace industry.
 
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the F-35 Lightning II Program, responsible for the successful completion of the System Development and Demonstration Program, production, flight testing, global deployment and sustainment of the three F-35 variants for 13 military services in nine partner countries and two foreign military sales customers.
 
His career spans 34 years at Lockheed Martin Corporation, managing hundreds of programs for all branches of the U.S. military as well as industrial, research and medical customers in 50 nations. Mr. Carvalho holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a bachelor?s degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University.
