Just weeks after the general election, Rep. Granger will offer fresh perspective on what to expect in Washington for 2013, and how the outcome of the election will impact her work for Texas’ 12th District.
Congresswoman Granger is one of the most recognized leaders on national security and foreign policy. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on State-Foreign Operations for the 112th Congress. She also serves on the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and on the Subcommittee of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education. With her three subcommittee assignments, Granger oversees 70 percent of all discretionary spending. She also co-chairs the Anti-Terrorism Caucus and serves as a deputy whip.
