Be sure to mark your calendar for January 9, 2014, when the Chamber will ring in the new year with our first event: a membership luncheon featuring Dr. Michael Williams, the new president of UNT Health Science Center.
 
Dr. Williams, named president in July 2013, will fill us in on the status of campus expansion, the new UNT System College of Pharmacy located on the Fort Worth campus, crimes solved and forensic discoveries through the Center for Human Identification, whether the M.D. program has a chance of resurrection in the next state legislative session, and more.
 
Williams is a Fort Worth native and, as a graduate of UNTHSC’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) class of 1981, is the first alumnus to lead the 40-year old institution. Before coming to Fort Worth, he served as CEO of Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg. Hope you can join us for lunch!
