The Chamber invites you to join us for a special presentation by Rick Merrill, president and CEO of Cook Children's Health Care System. He will be updating us on expansion plans - both downtown and in potential new locations - as well as new treatments, specialties offered, and updates about the impact of health care legislation.

The Cook Children's Medical Center is with Magnet designation provides state-of-the-art technology to more than 30 specialties and subspecialties. Cook Children's Medical Center, licensed by the State of Texas and accredited by The Joint Commission, is ranked in the top 7 percent of the nation's hospitals for its nursing excellence.

Merrill has been CEO since 2007. Prior to that, he was CEO and president of Driscoll Health System, which included Driscoll Children's Hospital, and before that was the administrator/chief operating officer at Medical City Dallas Hospital.

If you can come, it would brighten a child's day if you could bring a new children's book to donate to hospital.
