Project Gateway Blast Off 1K/5K Run

Join us as we celebrate the progress being made in Fort Worth’s largest urban programmed park, Gateway Park with the Project Gateway 5K / 1K Blast Off Run! 

As part of the Trinity River Vision Master Plan, we’re counting down to the launch of some major improvements in Gateway that will make 2015 a big year for progress. Improvements have already launched in both east and west Gateway Park, many of which are scheduled to be complete this year. 

Dogs, strollers, runners, walkers…even moonwalkers are all welcome to come experience the beautiful trails in Gateway Park. After your stroll or run, the kids can enjoy a bounce house and other activities while you learn more about the work blasting off in Gateway Park later this year. 

Registration for the 1K is free and the timed 5K is $5. While advance registration is not required, it is encouraged so we can plan accordingly. 

All participants will receive a goody bag at the event that includes (among other things) a raffle ticket to win one of four $50 gift certificates to Fort Worth Running Company. 

Snacks and water will be provided.
