Project Goodwill

Strap on your heels!  Project Goodwill features aspiring designers from the community. Each designer is tasked with designing wearable garments using materials from Goodwill Fort Worth stores. Judges from all aspects of the fashion industry evaluate the designers’ work based on expression, design, and technique during this fun and exciting fashion show. 

Before the fashion show guests can enjoy a cash bar and have an opportunity to network, mix, & mingle.  There will be luxury silent auction items on display and a wine raffle available for all guests to participate in.  Sponsors not only get admission to the show and dinner, but also access to the VIP lounge which includes a swag bag, open bar and hors d'oeuvres. 

This will be an exciting night of fashion and fun to support Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth's mission to empower people with disabilities, disadvantages and other barriers to employment so that they may achieve maximum independence.  All proceeds from Project Goodwill support the Goodwill Board of Directors Moncrief Ryan Scholarship Fund to Goodwill's North Texas Institute for Career Development (NTI).  NTI offers training in the medical, transportation, administrative and trade fields.  Graduates from each course receive employment assistance to be placed in their field of study.  Since its inception in 2009, the fund has given $671,045.98 in financial assistance, resulting in 591 graduates from NTI programs!
