He has recorded over 113 albums and has won the Grammy award multiple times. He is currently recognized as one of the leading figures representing Mexican music. Throughout his professional career, he has broken many sales records.
Some of his hits include: “Casas de madera,” “Tragos amargos,” “Tristes recuerdos,” “Bonita finca de adobe,” Un rinconcito en el cielo” and “Mi Golondrina.”
