Join the Tarrant Area Chambers as we welcome Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley at the inaugural State of the County luncheon. Tarrant County with its 41 cities is one of the fastest growing counties in the country. About1.8 million people live here now, compared with about 800,000 in 1980. With this kind of growth explosion, taxpayers and local governments look to the county as the front door to many government services such as courts, housing or health services, a law library and keeping critical historic records.
Judge Whitley will address regional collaboration and cooperation needed to improve transportation and air quality, and provide the numerous services our citizens expect.
