Summer Sewing Classes

Join us this summer for a hands-on sewing course designed to build your skills and boost your confidence, no matter your experience level. Our friendly studio setting is perfect for learning the essentials while enjoying the creative process

* ?? Sewing Machine Basics: Get comfortable with your machine! Learn how to thread, adjust tension, change needles, and troubleshoot common issues.  You may bring your own machine or use one of ours.  You may use our scrap fabric to practice different stitches on the sewing machine during Open Sewing Studio Time. 

??Hemming Pants: Master this essential alteration technique and walk away with the ability to give your pants a perfect custom fit with 3 different techniques!  Included in this class are practice fabrics for each technique.  You may bring your own pants/skirt/dress to try on your own during Open Sewing Studio Time

?? Pattern Pro: Demystify pattern packets! Learn how to read the envelope, understand symbols, and lay out your fabric like a pro.  Patterns available for reference. Try cutting out your pattern and fabric during our Open Sewing Studio Time.

Each class is followed by **Open Sewing Studio Time**, where you'll put your new skills to work with instructor support—bring your own garments, machines, and/or patterns.  Ask questions, and try out your new skill with confidence!
