Auto body repair is typically a man’s world. That’s why you’ll be pleasantly surprised to meet Cathy Bonner, Chief Executive Officer, Service King Collision Repair Centers at the next Women Influencing Business luncheon.

Cathy Bonner was named by Fortune Magazine as one of the 25 most influential women entrepreneurs in America, saying she is “…smart, gutsy, and innovative--as interested in making a difference as in making money.” Her interview on KERA’s CEO show can be viewed here.

Bonner joined Service King as president in 2010 and now serves as CEO. Service King is the largest independently owned and operated collision repair company in the nation, with 1,400 “teammates” in 47 locations throughout Texas. The company is planning to buy Auto Body World this summer that will bring Service King close to $300 million in annual revenue.

Before Service King, her marketing firm, Bonner Incorporated, specialized in launching state supported college savings and prepaid tuition programs from 1995-2007. Bonner served in the 1991-1994 administration of Governor Ann Richards as Executive Director of the Texas Department of Commerce.
