We have a special WIN: Dine & Discuss on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the Women's Club of Fort Worth. This WIN: Dine & Discuss will consist of 10 tables with 6 ladies at each table. Each table will have a different topic of discussion over lunch, with enough time to network and get to know each other. After discussion within your small group, we will come together as a group to share insights from all the tables that others would find valuable from your discussions.
If you are available, choose which discussion group you would like to participate. There are only 6 seats for each discussion group (a Table Host and 5 participants). If you go online to register and do not see your topic of interest in the drop down box, it is already full and you can choose another. The list of discussion groups is:
Table 1 Discussion - "What Got You Here, Won't Get You There"
(We will discuss tips and habits for successfully making the transition from technician to manager)
Table 2 Discussion - Situational Awareness for Women
(Are there areas of your daily life where you could tighten up your safety? Are you concerned about being targeted as a victim? Good situational awareness can prevent you from becoming a statistic. This discussion will outline steps that any woman can take to better defend herself and her family.)
Table 3 Discussion - Change your Mindset, Change your World--TABLE FULL
(Discuss your belief systems, how they were formed and how changing them through mindfulness, affirmation and positive self-talk can change your world.)
Table 4 Discussion - How to Create an Audacious Life--TABLE FULL
(The life you deserve and desire. We will discuss the steps necessary to have less stress, be more productive and successful in all area of your life.)
Table 5 Discussion - Being a Woman in a Man's World: Obstacles, Opportunities and Real World Business Building Tips--TABLE FULL
(What do you do when customers want to talk with your male counterpart? How do you build that trusting relationship? Discuss how men and women make decisions differently. Tips to build that trust and form a lasting relationship.)
Table 6 Discussion - How to Plan Work Events--TABLE FULL
(If you happen to be the lucky person in the company who gets the task of planning the company's awards dinner, holiday party or anniversary event, (or perhaps have a personal event such as a wedding that is coming up) it can be a stressful task! We will look into the basics of planning a successful event, and prepare for the worst-case scenario.)

Table 8 Discussion - Learning to Love Promoting Yourself and your Services--TABLE FULL
(Oftentimes in business self-promotion can be challenging and sometimes appear to be self-aggrandizing. In this table discussion, we will look at the personal and developmental opportunities inherent within putting ourselves out there.)
Table 9 Discussion - The Road to Civic Engagement, Neighborhood Involvement, and Serving on a Board or Council.--TABLE FULL
(Have you ever thought about running for a board or council position for your local government or school district? Share in the discussion surrounding the benefits of engaging in your own neighborhood and city to make it a better place to live, work, and play.)
Table 10 Discussion - SMART Goals - Create Your Own Success Strategy--TABLE FULL
(It can be easy to set a million goals for yourself. Because we are high achieving, we add extra pressure to plan and set multiple goals. In reality, the simpler we make it, the more effective we become at reaching our goals and getting where we want. Create your own success strategy, take the time to figure out where you're headed, what your mission is, and what you want to accomplish when.)
Some participant guidelines:
- This is for Chamber members only, so no guests please.
- Attendance is mandatory. Because the group will consist of a host and 5 other ladies, everyone is needed to make this successful. If you sign up and find you have a conflict please email Brenda, bdyer@fortworthchamber.com as soon as possible as we usually have a waitlist of people who would like to attend.
- Arrive on time and please do not leave early.
- Bring business cards and paper to take notes.
- Turn off your cell phone.

The Woman's Club of Fort Worth is also having a Holiday Boutique that will be open Tuesday from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. You are invited to stay after the Dine & Discuss and do a little Christmas shopping! (They do take cash, check & credit cards).
Reservation Policy
All reservations must be accompanied by full payment. If no payment is received, it will not be considered a reservation. Due to catering guarantees payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another event.
