Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, professional Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is primarily inside sales–focused, supporting customers through order initiation, quoting, and fulfillment, with occasional outside sales responsibilities including customer visits, job site support, and industry events.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with our operations and sales teams to deliver high-quality service and practical solutions to customers throughout North Texas and Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales & Customer Support (Primary Focus)
? Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins.
? Prepare and follow up on quotes, sales orders, and material availability.
? Provide accurate product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
? Maintain and update customer records, pricing, and order details in the company database.
? Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Outside Sales & Relationship Development (Occasional)
? Plan and execute periodic sales visits to existing and prospective customers.
? Support relationship-building efforts through job site visits, lunches, and meetings.
? Attend trade shows and industry events as a company representative.
? Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity and provide feedback to leadership.
Operational Support
? Assist with order fulfillment as needed, including operating a forklift and helping load trucks.
? Support general sales and warehouse operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Characteristics
? Hard-working, self-motivated, and well-organized.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Highly organized and able to manage simultaneous tasks via emails, phone calls, and customer walk-ins.
? Ability to schedule and perform Quote and Sales Order follow-ups effectively.
? Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to shared goals.
? Prior sales experience and a college degree are preferred but not required.
