About Us

Equipped Sports & Life Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping underserved high school baseball and softball programs throughout Fort Worth ISD with the resources, mentorship, and support they need to succeed on and off the field.

Founded in 2024, Equipped was created after seeing firsthand how a lack of equipment and resources can limit a student-athlete's opportunity to fully experience the game. We believe every student-athlete who wants to play baseball or softball should have access to the equipment, encouragement, and opportunities that help them grow both as athletes and as individuals.

Through partnerships with schools, coaches, community organizations, professional athletes, and industry leaders, Equipped provides new and gently used athletic equipment, coach and athlete mentorship, outreach support, educational opportunities, and memorable experiences that build confidence and character.

Since our founding, Equipped has grown from serving 3 schools in 2024 to 11 baseball and softball programs during the 2025–2026 season. Our goal is to equip 22 schools in the 2026–2027 season, expanding our impact to more student-athletes and coaches throughout Fort Worth ISD.

Equipped's programs are made possible through the generosity of donors, corporate partners, sponsors, and community supporters who believe in creating greater access and opportunity for young athletes. From providing essential equipment to creating opportunities for student-athletes to connect with professional athletes and experience events at Globe Life Field, every initiative is designed to remind young people that they are seen, supported, and capable of more.
