Owned by ESPN, the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl is a postseason college football game played in Fort Worth. Established in 2003, the bowl has featured a military theme since 2006 with patriotic overtones recognizing the military throughout the game. Past bowls have included fan-fest areas, flyovers, skydiving teams, induction ceremonies, military bands, honor guards, and the awarding of the Great American Patriot Award.
