  • About

Texas A&M University School of Law is a public, ABA-accredited institution located in downtown Fort Worth.

Aggie Law has structured its core programs to reflect the state’s strongest economic growth indicators, and to produce graduates for the fields in greatest demand.

Among these are the top-ranked Intellectual Property program (14th in the nation, according to peers from U.S. News and World Report), and the school’s Alternate Dispute Resolution program (ranked #1 in Texas and #18 in the nation). Aggie Law’s advocacy program continues to earn acclaim, most recently capturing the national championship title of the 2016 ABA Annual Representation in Mediation Competition.

The school has also reduced tuition by 15%, increased scholarships and hired 18 new faculty members, in areas ranging from public service and immigration law to urban community development and land use.

Experiential learning remains a top priority for Texas A&M University School of Law, which in 2015-16 alone added a tenth law clinic (focused on Veterans’ Affairs), expanded its clinics into a new, 5,200 square foot space, and added off-site immersion courses, from a borderlands study based in Laredo to a comparative IP course based in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy.

The school’s inaugural Washington, D.C. externship class concluded this spring, following successful engagements with the ACLU Legislative Affairs Office, the Open Society Foundation, the EEOC Office of General Counsel, and the NRA Institute of Legislative Affairs.
