DALLAS, TX — Major Gifts Ramp-Up (MGRU), the nonprofit fundraising education program presented by the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives (NANOE), will host a live two-day event October 7–8, 2026, at The DEC Network at Red Bird, 3560 West Camp Wisdom Road #200, Dallas, TX. Sessions run 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The event is presented in partnership with The DEC Network and the Fort Worth Chamber.
Designed for nonprofit executives, board members, and development staff, the experience delivers a step-by-step plan to build a case for support, engage top donors, activate boards, and secure major gifts. A central promise of the Dallas–Fort Worth event: showing organizations how to identify the millionaire donors already living in their own communities.
"Most nonprofit leaders were never shown how to identify, connect with, and build relationships with donors capable of transforming their mission," said Louis Fawcett, President of NANOE, who will lead the Dallas–Fort Worth sessions. "This experience is a complete rethinking of how charities raise money, moving organizations from fundraising out of desperation to building genuine donor relationships that fund their work at scale."
Fawcett will be joined by Chris Burgin, CEO of Allies in Youth Development, an organization that raised $8 million after engaging the MGRU model. Over two days, attendees will explore why donor motivation matters more than donor wealth, how to secure five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts, the psychology behind transformational giving, and the program's signature Three-Part Ask strategy.
More than 20,000 nonprofit executives nationwide have attended the Major Gifts Ramp-Up experience, led by a faculty of fundraising veterans who have collectively raised more than $1 billion for missions across the country.
