ABOUT ANN LOUDEN:
Ann Louden is the Chancellor’s Associate for Strategic Partnerships at TCU where she has built a distinguished career as a longtime senior administrator. Beginning with her leadership as alumni director – envisioning and creating national programs to involve hundreds of alumni volunteers – to her management of the $125 million Next Frontier Campaign fund-raising program as director of development, Ann has nurtured countless relationships for TCU.
A high energy inspirational speaker, and a committed volunteer leader for non-profit causes, Ann serves as role model and mentor for TCU students as well as professionals in the larger community. Her commitment to higher education was honored by the Council of Advancement and Support of Education with the Apple Award for excellence in teaching. She is also editor of an in-demand book on best fund-raising practices and has been a contributing author for industry articles and publications.
As Director of the Center for Connection Culture, Ann provides leadership and vision to intentionalize and maintain TCU’s unique culture of community. Together with a committee of TCU faculty and staff as well as volunteer corps of engaged students, Ann develops and directs the activities of the Center and builds effective and vital connections both in and outside the University.
A breast cancer survivor, Ann also chairs TCU’s national Frogs for the Cure partnership with Susan G. Komen, raising awareness for the cause, securing community support, and spearheading year round programs to support survivors and their families. Her passion for engaging the University community and building collaborative relationships with healthcare alliances has been recognized nationally.
ABOUT KRISTEN SULLIVAN:
Kristin joined UT Arlington in 2008 and is a senior member of the University Communications management team. She plays a major role in the development and implementation of integrated communications and marketing strategies.
Kristin leads the Office of Media Relations; directs strategic messaging in alignment with the University’s mission and goals; directs social media strategies to enhance internal and external engagement; and leads issues management efforts and crisis communications strategies. She also serves as the University’s liaison to the UT System Office of Public Affairs and as the primary University spokesperson.
Before joining UT Arlington, Kristin served as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s education editor, Arlington newsroom manager and in a variety of editing and management positions. She spent 10 years reporting on public safety, government, politics and education.
Kristin serves on the Board of Directors for the Van Cliburn Foundation in Fort Worth and is a member of the Journalism Advisory Board for Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts. She is a past president of the Society of Professional Journalists-Fort Worth Professional Chapter and the Association for Women Journalists. Kristin earned her undergraduate degrees in political science and journalism from Southern Methodist University.
