The Indirect Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting all auto loans that originate at an indirect dealership, and help drive smart decisions that fuel success!
The Indirect Underwriter will be in training in office for the first 6 months, then can be on a hybrid schedule after that, if in good standing. Hybrid schedule on weekly basis will be 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
To be eligible for hybrid work, you must show that you can successfully work independently and meet productivity goals. Also you must have a reliable wired, high speed internet and broadband connection (20Mbps+ download speed/ 5Mbps+ upload speed). Applicants must provide this requirement has been met. You provide the high-speed internet. We will provide everything else (computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset).
Key Responsibilities for the Indirect Underwriter are must possess the ability to understand and implement the lending guidelines to maintain an acceptable credit risk. Loans submitted through indirect must comply with EECU’s lending criteria and SOP’s, as well as State requirements; therefore, Underwriter must maintain working knowledge of all State and Federal guidelines, as well as EECU’s internal policies.
Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
