Goodwill North Central Texas Names Christy Allen Vice President of Human Resources

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (June 4, 2026) – Goodwill North Central Texas announced today the promotion of Christy Allen to Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the executive leadership team, Allen will oversee all aspects of the organization’s human resources function, including strategic initiatives related to compensation, recruitment, training, employee relations and compliance with labor laws.

In her new role, Allen will spearhead critical personnel management functions that support the nonprofit’s continued growth and mission impact across North Central Texas. Allen joined Goodwill North Central Texas in 2019 as an HR Generalist and was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2022. In 2024, she was named Director of Human Resources, where she led administration, employee relations and recruitment efforts while helping strengthen the organization’s workforce strategy and culture.

Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008 and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix in 2013.
