EECU is a growing, community-focused credit union that is redefining relationship banking inside high-traffic grocery store locations throughout Collin County. 

We are seeking an energetic, people-focused Relationship Market Development & Growth Manager to drive new member growth, increase community engagement, and build meaningful partnerships throughout Plano, Frisco, and North Frisco.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on connecting with people, building relationships, and making a visible impact in the community while generating revenue for the Collin County Financial Centers by way of contributing to the overall financial center metrics that matter. In this highly interactive role, you will serve as a brand ambassador for the credit union while helping expand our presence, driving revenue/business, and influence in rapidly growing markets.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 • Lead dynamic in-store outreach initiatives designed to increase foot traffic, generate qualified leads, and grow new memberships.
 • Build and maintain strong partnerships with grocery store leadership and staff to maximize branch visibility, collaboration, and member engagement.
 • Develop strategic relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and networking groups to expand awareness and drive business growth.
 • Represent the credit union at community events, business functions, and networking opportunities to strengthen our local presence, business growth and reputation.
 • Create exceptional member experiences by proactively following up with leads and converting prospects into revenue generating long-term financial relationships.
 • Support branch operations as needed by assisting members at in-store branch locations and helping deliver outstanding service.
 • Act as a visible and trusted advocate for the credit union’s mission, values, and commitment to the communities we serve.

This role is designed for a results-oriented relationship builder who is motivated by growth, community impact, and delivering measurable results. Success will be measured through key performance indicators including:
 • Growth in new member accounts and overall household relationships
 • Increase in household growth through deeper member engagement and relationship expansion
 • Growth in deposit balances and overall deposit portfolio development
 • Increase in consumer loan growth through proactive outreach and relationship building
 • Increased in-store engagement, branch traffic, and community visibility
 • Successful lead conversion and long-term relationship retention
 • Strong partnerships with grocery store management, local businesses, and community organizations

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Education & Background 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. 
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, retail banking, sales, community relations, or a related field. 
  • Relationship Management & Business Development 
    • Proven ability to build, develop, and sustain strong relationships with external partners, community organizations, and business leaders. 
    • Demonstrated success in generating new business, increasing customer/member acquisition, and expanding market presence. 
    • Experience working within or alongside retail environments (e.g., in-store partnerships, or high-traffic consumer settings) strongly preferred. 
  • Sales & Member Engagement 
    • Strong consultative sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. 
    • Ability to proactively generate leads, effectively follow up, and convert prospects into long-term relationships. 
    • Skilled in delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities to deepen member relationships. 
  • Community Presence & Brand Representation 
    • Experience representing an organization at community events, networking functions, and public engagements. 
    • Strong ability to serve as a brand ambassador, enhancing visibility and reputation within targeted markets. 
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, relationship-first approach.
