SafeHaven is Tarrant County's oldest and largest non-profit organization working to end domestic violence in our community. This is critically important since 1 in 4 Tarrant County women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. SafeHaven's mission is to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention and social change. To that end, the agency operates a 24/7/365 hotline, two emergency shelters, two resource centers, a transitional living complex and multiple programs including case management, counseling, on-site school, day care, transitional living and permanent supportive housing programs, legal representation, and violence prevention programs for schools and the community. Additionally, SafeHaven operates a batterer's treatment program and a resale store, Berry Good Buys. All services are provided at no cost to victims. Service locations are in Fort Worth and Arlington.
